Local Parks District Enlist Smokey The Bear To Advocate for Dog $h!T Reduction
LASALLE COUNTY – Local LaSalle County Parks Districts have teamed up with Smokey The Bear to bring a new campaign around the growing problem of scumbag people not picking up their dog’s brownies in local parks.
“Signs will be going up all around our community.” Tim Reese told The Cob.
“It is just a campaign to make people aware that they need to pick up their dogs dookies when out in public.” He continued.
“Look at this brown nugget here,” Tim said looking at the ground outside Peck Park in Ottawa. “Classic case of not picking up dog poo.”
“We are mulling over punishment for individuals caught not cleaning up after their pets. There are plans to remove the dogs from these owner’s houses and replace them with cats who solely crap in a box.” He concluded.
Look for signs to hit local parks this summer.
