Urgent Alert: Freeze Pushes Polar Bears to Wisconsin/Illinois Border
ILLINOIS – A rare and ultimately dangerous situation is underway on the Illinois and Wisconsin border as a group of polar bears have managed to wander south into Northern Illinois.
Local authorities have told the public to remain diligent and alert as these bears are in an unusual habitat and may scare easy.
“It’s colder here than the North Pole.” Local Meteorologist, Steven Roberts told The Cob, Saturday afternoon.
“As the Artic becomes warmer these bears are just looking for a cooler place to stay.” Steven concluded.
Authorities have also advised the public to stay calm, crack open a Coka Cola and enjoy the holiday season, and if you want to see real Illinois polar bears, visit the zoo.
